News 02/28/09: Rihanna and Chris Brown back together!

After three weeks of the Chris Brown and Rihanna incident, it seems that they are now back together! According to various sources, Chris Brown and Rihanna are both currently at Diddy's home on Star Island in Miami, Florida.

“She’s not listening to anyone, It’s not easy to shut off a relationship she invested so much in.”
- Friend of Rihanna tells US Weekly

Another source told People Magazine that the relationship was rekindled when Brown reached out to Rihanna on her 21st birthday earlier this week.

"He called to wish her happy birthday. They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual."

As the Los Angeles County District Attorney decides whether or not to charge Brown for his alleged beating of Rihanna on February 8 and as the haunting photo following the incident remains seared in our brains. We just hope each side knows what it is doing.

It seems to me the single "Sweat" by Flo Rida featuring Chris Brown has been dropped! The single was supposed to be featured on Flo Rida's new album "R.O.O.T.S.", but the artist is now trashing the track due to the discord surrounding Chris Brown.

News 02/24/09: Rihanna Appalled by Brown's Apology

Singer Rihanna's camp has declined to officially comment on Chris Brown's apology statement, but sources say that the "Umbrella" crooner is "appalled" by Brown's statement.

"All of us, including Rihanna, don't understand how he can say he's sorry on the one hand, but still... does not admit any guilt," a Barbados pal of Rihanna tells the Chicago Sun Times. "He should have expressed more contrition."

After a week of negative press for Chris subsequent to the alleged abuse of Rihanna, Brown released a statement saying he was "sorry and saddened... over what transpired," but did not go into detail about the altercation.

A source close to the Rihanna told the newspaper that RiRi is "royally pissed off" at what she calls Brown's "cavalier and arrogant statement."

Both singers are currently keeping a low profile. Chris is due in court March 5.

News 02/20/09: Rihanna Aftermath

I know most of you heard of the incident with Chris Brown and Rihanna, but overall what do you think of it? We all know that what sparked the situation was a text message that was sent to Chris Brown, and the other reason was because of Rihanna giving Chris Brown herpes. Do you think Chris Brown deserves to go to jail? Do you think he should stop making music? Chris Brown recently put in a $50,000 bail towards his actions and sent in an apology through a text message:

Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.

Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.
