The rapper was arrested and charged for illegally purchasing firearms 2 years ago in 2007. JONAS BROS REVEALS NEW ALBUM RELEASE DATE

The Jonas Brothers have officially announced the release date of their newest fourth album! The album is going to be released this year on June 15th, 2009, but they haven't given us the official title of the album. The Jonas Brothers will hit the road on June 15th to promote their album, including a good chunk of shows in Canada.
The rumoured title of the album is supposed to be "Lines, Vines and Trying Times", but that all can change sooner or later and the rumored leading track from the album is titled "Poison Ivy".

I hope the Jonas Brothers give us something a little more different than what they gave us on "A Little Bit Longer". The album was good, but change is always good. I will be posting their new singles once they get released so stay tuned!

More News 03/18/09: Eminem Albums Set

EMINEM CONFIRMS ALBUM RELEASE DATE

Rap star Eminem has confirmed his new album, his first in four years, will be released on May 18th.

Relapse, the rapper's fifth album, will be preceded by a new single and video in April, Interscope Records announced today, after his previous hit Crack A Bottle hit the number one on the US chart and broke a record for first week download sales.

And as well as confirming the release of his first new material since 2004, Eminem, [real name Marshall Mathers] also announced that he is already working on a follow-up album to Relapse, which should be released in late 2009.

Eminem stated:

"A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year, I was one of them. Then Dr. Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre. Putting out Relapse 2 will let everyone get all of the best stuff."

Oscar-winner Eminem, 36, has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide and recently reached number four in the UK with Crack A Bottle, featuring mentor Dr. Dre and Eminem's protege 50 Cent.

It has been announced that Kanye West's collaborator Kid Cudi is calling it quits after the release of his first album which will be released this summer! With is national scene hit single "Day 'N' Nite", Kid Cudi says that he is already tired of the music biz! Kid Cudi says he's retiring because of the problems on becoming popular! He wishes to focus more on his acting career instead. What a shocker! I wouldn't have thought he would give up this easily!

Kid Cudi said quote:

"I am falling back on being an artist. The drama that comes with it is more overwhelming than the s**t I was dealing wit (sic) when I was p**s poor broke. My friends get mad at me, say I've changed. I don't look at it as quitting for I have already accomplished my goal. I have a solid fan base who truly appreciates me and my messages through song. I got multiple big records. One of the events that may have left a bad taste in Kid Cudi's mouth was an altercation that took place last month during the NBA's All Star weekend. The performer was involved in a fight with two event employees that resulted in Cudi being tasered by police.

Lil Wanye has officially announced that he will be releasing two albums this year.
Tha Carter IV is the eighth studio album by Lil Wayne. He has Stated that he will Release this Album, and the debut rock "Rebirth" in the same year 2009, Lil Wayne said: "Tha Carter IV will be released after my debut rock album Rebirth, and just before the holidays in December". Also, he stated that this album will be rap, and Rebirth is rock.

They sometimes feature some pretty big names like 3Oh!3, Alexisonfire, Anti-flag, Bad Religion, Ivy League, The Main, Westbound Train, and many more! I believe tickets are $50, which may seem steep to some, however it is a full day of music with live bands. The bands listed play a variety of genres including rock, punk, ska, pop punk, emo, alternative hip hop, just to list a few. A full list of bands can be found here.

Warped Tour will be starting June 26th and go all the way until August 23rd. So until then I will be posting a little bit about each band and giving you some of their singles to enjoy, as well as the newest singles from top artists. Keep checking back for more!
