The Vancouver Canucks were going against a young playoff contender the St. Louis Blues. The Vancouver Canucks looked to grab a win on home ice which they did. They won the game 2-1 with goals by Daniel Sedin (1) in the first period, Steve Bernier (1) in the second on a deflection off Sami Salo's shot, and finally Brad Boyes (1) in the third period on the powerplay to reach the Blues within 1. But the Blues failed to capitalize as the Vancouver Canucks win 2-1 to lead the series 2-1. Next game is in Vancouver on the 17th.
